Definition of a Hero
To my opinion, a hero can be several things, but there are several qualities that all heroes needs to have. All characters should be courageous, and act even when they are really afraid; they also need to be important, so they can take action when needed. They will obviously have to be helpful and selfless, so they really put mostly put other folks before themselves. Lastly, they need to be determined to do precisely what is right, they can't just let anything go previous them rather than do something about it, whether it's in their power to do so.

I believe that the hero has to be courageous.
